Lab origin suspected as baby corpses found near North Augusta
Three infant remains and a brain were found in two trash piles near the 5th and 13th Street bridges on the North Augusta border. Aiken County Coroner Sue Townsend said the bodies, preserved in formaldehyde with hospital markings, likely originated from a lab. no foul play is suspected. Local authorities and North Augusta police are investigating.
