Amateur archaeologist Edward Wright dies at 83
WorLD LONDON reports Edward Wright who found Europe's oldest cargo boats on the Humber estuary died at 83 after a brief illness. He passed May 18 in a hospital. a memorial service was held June 6 at Holy Trinity Church, Amberley, where he lived. Wright and his brother Claude found the first of three boats in 1937 during a university break.
