Fesse Lee Laney aged 19 was brought to Aiken County Jail after waiving extradition. Robert Hightower, 32, has been in custody since June 4. Roosevelt Bryant, 23, remains in Richmond County awaiting extradition from Georgia. The Holoways who ran the College Acres Zippy Mart on S.C. 19 were killed January 4, leaving six children aged 6 to 19.
George L. Miller plans to present his Purple Heart to Max Cleland at a public forum near Anderson. He has pursued a service connected disability pension since 1958 after a 1950 Korea era injury, but the VA has repeatedly denied above 10 percent, despite medical opinion of 100 percent disability.
