Aiken County Adds Missing Alert Tool for Residents
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office adopts A Child Is Missing Alert to blanket neighborhoods with up to 1,000 calls per minute for missing persons. The system, free to law enforcement, can run with Amber Alerts and has been in service since 1997 with 101 safe recoveries in three years.
