Authorities believe 3 year old Jaryd Atadero, who vanished during a Fort Collins area hike on October 2, 1999, may have been attacked by an animal. Clothing items were found in the Comanche Peak Wilderness Area, several hundred feet above the trail, but no remains have been located.
