Burtons Still Married Amid Haiti Divorce Dispute
Richard Burton remains married to Elizabeth Taylor after Haiti’s tourism office said a notarized signature from Taylor was not produced to approve a legal separation. Burton arrived in Port au Prince last Saturday and left for Miami on a commercial flight to California. He was accompanied by Susan Hunt, ex-wife of James Hunt. Taylor had not been asked for her signature.
