NASA delays launch of Spirit and Opportunity rovers to Mars
Storms at Cape Canaveral force a postponement of the Delta II launch carrying the first rover Spirit and its twin Opportunity. Named by Sofi Collis from Scottsdale, the golf cart sized rovers will drill rocks and seek evidence of past water on Mars, with a three month mission outlook and potential dust impact on solar panels.
