The second ACTS Car Show in Burnettsown at Langley Pond Park runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with free admission and a Drive Against Hunger theme. Proceeds support ACTS food budget. attendees may donate money or nonperishable items. cars can be entered the day of the event.
ACTS hosts a no entry fee car show at Langley Pond Park 113 Langley Dam Rd Burnettown on Saturday 10 am to 2 pm. Donations of money or nonperishable food accepted with raffles games and food. Top prizes awarded for best entries and sponsors include Bob Richards Nissan and the Aiken County Parks Department.
IntelliSystems announces Mike McGhee from Senior Technical Engineer to Operations Manager overseeing daily tech support and automation documentation. Also noted are honors and new member Angus farm BST Cattle Co joining the American Angus Association and several dean’s list recognitions for Clemson and universities in 2016.
The Glover Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Warrenville will break ground Saturday at noon on 331 Project Road for a rebuilt sanctuary after last year’s fire. The project aims for a $500,000 cost with $200,000 already raised and insurance covering part. Rev. Bobby Jones will speak at the ceremony alongside the rebuilding team and Steering Committee chair John Lindsay.
