A Lexington couple William and Rachel Schureck faced a massive Sprint charge after a mailer arrived showing 132,000 minutes of calls and a 750 page bill. Sprint later reduced the charge to about $200 after concluding the billing could not be accurate.

Custody Relinquished To Save Child Life

Los Angeles AP report says a 12 day old infant whose unwed parents gave custody to his paternal grandparents to overturn a hospital’s transplant denial. A donor heart search has begun after Loma Linda University Medical Center refused a transplant. The baby, born May 25, is in stable condition and to be moved to Loma Linda from an undisclosed Los Angeles County hospital.
