New Ellenton Man Sentenced For Selling Illegal Drugs
A New Ellenton man Harold Hubbs aged 28 was found guilty in General Sessions Court of distributing unlawful drugs. He received five years in prison plus five years probation after a five hour jury deliberation. An undercover agent testified Hubbs sold tablets at his home on November 30 1978 with follow up buys. Additional sentences were handed to several defendants for crimes including escaping from public works housebreaking larceny and driving under the influence.
