Washington scientist launches effort to digitize all global fish
University of Washington biology professor Adam Summers installed a CT scanner at Friday Harbor Laboratories and started a global project to digitize more than 25 000 fish species. He has digitized over 500 species so far, offering free access to scans through an open database, funded by 340 000 dollars.
