A 24 year old Jackson woman wanted by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office for forgery turned herself in on Friday and was booked at the Aiken County Detention Center where she remains on bond. Aiken Public Safety investigates an assault weekend victim hospitalized with a broken jaw and facial injuries after an argument over a girl. A Bunche Terrace peeping tom, described as a black male in his mid 20s, was reported Monday night.
An Aiken man, 23, faces burglary and grand larceny charges and may be tied to several local breakins. Officials say he allegedly burglarized a Craft Lane residence in early July, taking a vehicle, electronics, firearms and jewelry, with connections to a prior Ascanga Lake Road burglary. Capt. Troy Elwell noted further charges may follow.
