18YearOld Woman Dies In Aiken County Crash
An 18 year old woman, Tiffany Furtick of Old Shoals Road, died after losing control of a 1999 Ford Escort on a dirt portion of Old Shoals Road near Wire Road. She was unrestrained and suffered multiple trauma. Her three passengers, including her 2 year old son, were restrained and uninjured. The crash occurred after 7 p m following a convenience store departure. Speed is listed as a contributing factor. This marks the 18th fatal crash in Aiken County in 2010.
