South Carolina DHEC will test Langley Pond sediment and water quality over six months after a memorandum with Aiken County to share a 450000 to 475000 dollar project. Tests will screen for mercury chromium copper zinc PCBs and organics with public meeting details to follow.
Shaw AREVA MOX Services hosted presentations and facility tours at the Savannah River Site for guidance counselors and South Carolina State University Summer Nuclear Science Institute students.
