AT&T grant funds Aiken summer film camp
Aiken Film Alliance used a 5100 grant from AT&T to run a summer film camp for forty students in grades 5 through 12 at USC Aiken. The program featured professional direction from Atlanta and Los Angeles crew, teaching writing, filming, and editing with digital cameras and green screens. Films will be showcased at an October event with partners USCA, Aiken County School District, Public Education Partners, and volunteers.

Men Charged in Connection With Minor Sex Offenses in Aiken
Aiken County deputies charged two men, Daniel White and Cary Fulmer, with multiple counts of criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. White faces 17 counts of first-degree, eight counts of second-degree, three counts of third-degree, and two additional first-degree charges. Fulmer faces four counts of first-degree, one count of second-degree, and contributing to delinquency. The alleged abuse spans 2009 to 2017 for White and 2009 to 2013 for Fulmer. Both were jailed after July 21 arrest.
