Aiken County Opens Adult Schools to Lift North Carolina Learners
Aiken County launches adult education as part of a statewide program to help former tenant farmers and families with little schooling. An organizer will locate schools, with classes starting July 20, for residents 14 and older who have not completed the fifth grade. Community leaders urge citizens to volunteer as boosters and contact Mrs. E. P. Kennedy, County Organizer.
