Scott joins infamous list of golf collapses at Open
Scott blew a four shot lead over four holes at the British Open finishing one behind Ernie Els after a bunker bogey and a missed seven footer. The meltdown joins Van de Velde and Sneed as famous major collapses alongside Mickelson at the 2006 U S Open. Scott called it a great chance slip away and will struggle to forget.
