Daughter of a Methodist minister she studied at Knox College Guilliard and Columbia University and performed in New York stage works including Oklahoma and Carousel. She married three times and supported symphony boards and PEO. Survived by five children and spouses with many grandchildren. Funeral details note St Lukes Methodist Orlando July 30 2008.

Coroner Arrested for Probation Violation in North Carolina
York County coroner Doug McKown, 39, was charged with drinking and driving while on probation. Police in Lincoln County said his passenger smoked crack. McKown, who was sentenced to a year of probation in May after an illegal prescription charge, denies the allegations.
