Aiken Mayor Odell Weeks Remembered for Civic Legacy
Aiken’s long-serving mayor Odell Weeks, linked to Strom Thurmond, guided growth during the 1950s 60s and 70s. The exhibit at the Aiken Historical Museum recalls his airport ribbon cutting 1967, Clemson ties, and a life of public service from 1903 to 1992.
