CDC findings show varying healthy life expectancy by race and gender
Nationally 65 year olds can expect about 15 additional healthy years for women and 13 for men. Blacks show poorer outcomes with about 11 healthy years versus over 14 for whites. Re enactors mark 150th anniversary of 54th Massachusetts attack
Dozens of Civil War re enactors gathered at Sullivan’s Island to honor the 150th anniversary of the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry assault on Battery Wagner near Charleston.
