Israel Says Its Cluster Bombs Target Military Sites
Israeli officials told the United States that cluster bombs were used only against military targets in Lebanon. The Palestinian Liberation Organization accuses Israel of striking civilian areas during the six week invasion. Officials declined to be named and left it to Washington to release explanations.

Aiken City Council Reviews Amended Tax Bill
