Aiken County Council OKs Funding for Council on Aging
After executive session the Aiken County Council approved a 13 800 emergency ordinance for Council on Aging funds to be allocated monthly from district discretionary accounts. Allocations range from 500 to 2650 per district with council member Homer McGee opposing but pledging 500 from District Six. The measure was amended to a regular ordinance as an emergency clause was deemed untenable.
