The space shuttle Endeavour arrives at the International Space Station docking 220 miles above the Australian coast. Eleven astronauts from the United States Russia Canada Japan and Belgium greet each other as the crew expands the station with a 13-member presence. The NASA crew plan five spacewalks to assemble Japan's lab porch and conduct experiments. Endeavour will stay at the station through July 28 amid foam shedding concerns.
