The project locates at the Chesterfield and Park Avenue intersection to house all county court rooms hearing rooms and related departments. The $5.2 million facility aims to finish by July 1986 but is 30 days behind schedule due to weather.
The Etherredge Center project at USC Aiken plans a classroom building for performing and visual arts and a 729 seat auditorium that can be reduced to a 300 seat intimate theater. Budget is 4.5 million with 1.5 million for the building and 3 million for the auditorium. Finishing date is late fall 1985. Progress is 30 days behind schedule due to unspecified delays.
Location Houndslake Jackson Pictured and North Augusta will host a three school project to meet state accreditation standards with a combined cost of 12 million dollars. Finishing date is late August 1985 and progress to date is on schedule.
The Aiken County Voter Registration Board will hold sessions tomorrow and Saturday at White Pond Community Center and Rose's in North Augusta, with hours 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and 6 to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday the office at 736 Richland Ave will be open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Voters may register change address or request a duplicate card during these times.
