Bones found in abandoned well identified as Rebecca Simmons
The bones recovered from a 50 foot deep abandoned well near Anderson are identified as 45 year old Rebecca Lynn Simmons missing since May. An autopsy was inconclusive and further tests are planned. No foul play suspected and the body likely sat in the well for at least a month. Clemson trustees choose David Wilkins as board chair for two years. An $815 million budget is approved with a 2.2 percent revenue-expenditure increase.
