Aiken County Council meets in Council Chambers at 736 Richland Ave at 7 p m today to consider a proposed ordinance amending the Official Zoning and Development District Atlas to rezone multiple tax parcels along Brer Rabbit Road Busby Road Butler Road Charleston Highway Eastwood Court Folly Hill Lane Fox Pond Road Hathaway Bridge Road Haywire Place Honey Ridge Lane Montmorenci Road Old Tory Trail Quail Bend Road Rocking Horse Lane Shag Hill Lane Wagoner Road and West Road in District 1 from RUD to RH5B and to remove the item from the table for third reading. A consent agenda covers appointments, budget allocations, hiring moratorium exemptions, recognitions, road naming, drainage easements, surplus declarations, and grants. An introduction of ordinances on first reading includes a fee in lieu proposal for Project Charger. Public record items include the FY 2014 contingency report.
