Reba Herron Cooper of Salley died July 13 2005 in Aiken County aged 86. She leaves three daughters three sons 23 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Funeral July 16 at 2 p.m. at Bible Faith Holiness Church in Aiken with interment at Friendship Assembly of God Cemetery. Napier Funeral Home. Rudolf Schmidt 85 of Aiken died Sunday at home after a life in personnel work and community service. Born in New Albany Indiana he moved to Aiken in 1964 and served as a board member for the Salvation Army Vocational Rehab and volunteered with Vials of Life and the Aiken Community Playhouse. A memorial service is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church with burial details and a gift to Hitchcock Hospice requested.

William Cunningham 87 of Beaufort County died July 14 2005 at his residence. A Clem son University graduate and former chemist for Southern Cotton Oil Co Bayonne NJ and DuPont Savannah River Plant he served as a US Army lieutenant 1942 46 in the Chemical Warfare Service receiving the American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal. He volunteered with St Mary Help of Christians Amigos de San Jose Habitat for Humanity and the Aiken County Historical Museum. He was married to Anna Maria Ecker with five children and nine grandchildren. Mass will be held July 16 at St Mary Help of Christians with burial at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers are named. memorials to St Mary Help of Christians School or Habitat for Humanity.
