Hitchcock pediatric center aids Timmy and others in care
Angela Rodgers describes her son Timmy Wolfe’s progress after entering Hitchcock Pediatrics for Pervasive Developmental Disorder. The center treated 350 patients in 2004 with 50 on a speech therapy waitlist and 70 percent of patients on Medicaid. A $50,000 donation from Tommy Wessinger supports facility improvements as Hitchcock relies on United Way funding and donor generosity to cover the remaining Medicaid shortfall.
