Storm floods Aiken area. power outages and water damage reported

Last night’s storm drenched Aiken with about two inches of rain causing stranded vehicles and standing water. Ten cars stalled in Kalmia Hills and water damage was noted at the Doughnut Shop and Quick as a Wink cleaners while several homes and stores faced power loss and flooded streets. No evacuations occurred.
