Usry withdraws from Council Seat 8 race
Joe Usry a Republican candidate for Aiken County Council District 8 withdrew from the November 6 general election citing conflicts of interest with his work as a financial consultant and president of Te & Money Inc Incumbent Democrat Comac Doete Willars Clyburn faces the race. Party chairman Kenneth Goad said a viable Republican candidate will run in place of Usry and a Sept 17 deadline is set for a new candidate to join the race.
