Army Colonel and two others plead not guilty to bribery charges
U S Army Col Anthony Tyrone Roper of Ft Gordon Audra Roper and Dwayne Fulton appeared at a federal court in Augusta for arraignment on counts of conspiracy bribery false statements and obstruction of justice. They denied the charges and requested 90 days to review evidence as bond set at 50 000 for Fulton 50 000 for the Ropers with the judge noting presumption of innocence.

Woodside Plantation Country Club marked its 30th anniversary on June 17 with a golf tournament 100 players, a tennis pickleball event with 50 participants, and a Caribbean nights charity party attended by more than 300.
