Breast implants not linked to higher cancer risk says Cancer Answer
Dr Paul G Goetowst Medical Director at Carolina Cancer Center says fears about silicone breast implants and cancer lack solid evidence. Studies of over 10 000 Canadian women found no increased risk and some data even suggest lower incidence, while connective tissue disease fears have also been discredited. Cancer Answer offers guidance at Carolina Cancer Center Box 869 Aiken SC 29802.

Stress and dental visits linked to fewer postprocedure issues
A dental health notice urges anxious patients to discuss concerns with their dentist before procedures. A study of 83 healthy patients awaiting wisdom teeth extraction found stressed individuals faced twice as many postprocedure problems as a less stressed group. Anxiety may alter immune response and oral bacteria balance, increasing disease risk. Regular cleanings and checkups are advised for healthy smiles.
