Silver Bluff Tops Aiken National In Tight Inning Thriller
Fields pitched four innings for Silver Bluff and weathered early threats as Aiken National loaded the bases twice and scored once. Joseph Wilson doubled and stole third, scoring on Jeff Hilliard’s single to trim the lead to 2 1. Perry relieved and a wild pitch at one point allowed a run, but Silver Bluff held on as Johnston Continental defeated Edgefield 5 4 in a Dixie Youth sub district 2 E winner’s bracket game.
