State Park Prison capacity cited in overcrowding suit
Corrections officials warn State Park Correctional Center is not housing the expected inmate load slowing settlement talks in the Nelson overcrowding lawsuit. The center, opened January, has held about 127 of an expected 250, influencing proposed 604 and 700 bed additions and a private contractor takeover.
