Emu on Rock Hill Farm Captured After City Chase
On Porter Road a farmer named Bobby Mangrum netted a female emu after a long pursuit through Rock Hill streets. The bird and several locals chased by neighbors, riders, and police were part of a global news moment. Mangrum keeps the emu with his mixed livestock and plans to tame her. The emu is fattening up, with no owner identified and no further calls about emus in the area.
