Gloverville House Fire Injures Occupant and Firefighter
Gloverville fire on Pine Street and near U S 421 sent one resident and one firefighter to local hospitals with injuries Tuesday evening. Fire chief Jeff Leopard said the blaze started in a bedroom and was knocked down before full engulfment. The Aiken County Sheriff’s Department assisted with traffic control.
