County Attorney Says Stage 5 Bookstore Operating Illegally

Aiken County Attorney C Wesley Smith says Belvedere Stage 5 adult bookstore is open but not legally compliant. The store in a mobile home hooked to its own generator to operate and lacks full building code compliance and may test the new pornography ordinance effective June 24. Stage 9 opened June 14 but is also illegal.
