Driver Flees Police In High Speed Chase Likely Endangers Officer

Burnettown officer Cpl. Dawn Derrick tried to stop a speeding vehicle on Ludlow Lake Road. The car eluded him, then returned and struck toward the officer. A chase involving the Highway Patrol and ACSO ended with the 19 year old North Augusta driver Faron Tyrone Cox arrested after a foot pursuit. No injuries were reported.

Supreme Court overturns Aiken slaying conviction
