Aiken County Crime blotter reports several incidents
A North Augusta man reported eight people threatened to fight at his Cheyenne Circle home. A Westover Drive resident’s bathroom vanity was stolen. Aiken man arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication on Shannon Drive. A Warrenville woman reported home intrusions on Lawn Drive and a March assault claim. A Ridge Spring woman reported theft of an HVAC unit on Cummings Road. A Richland Avenue business employee said a stolen PS4 and controller were traded for cash. A Summers Avenue resident had a window damaged by a rock. A Ridge incident involved a burglary by firearm in Greenville Street. Counterfeit $50 bills were offered at Whiskey Road.

CNTA golf tourney raises funds for nuclear education group

Beech Island Man Struck by Vehicle Wednesday
A 55 year old Beech Island man was hit at his Old Double Springs Road home and taken to hospital. Deputies report a white male in a white Chevrolet Avalanche parked in the yard with the victim’s spouse in the passenger seat. The driver fled the scene. no names were known at the time.
