Church Members Escape Stoning in Kenya Mission Trip
During a two week stay in Mombasa, about 40 members from Hickory Grove Baptist Church faced a hostile crowd as 50 Muslim youths and clerics attacked during sermons. Rocks hurled at a Nissan van as deacon Mike Corbin was kicked and interpreter Marjorie Williams was struck. No injuries reported as the group sought refuge in the vehicle and continued preaching, inspired by Acts.
