Colbert wins conditional OK for super PAC plan
The FEC allowed Stephen Colbert to use The Colbert Report resources for Colbert Super PAC with disclosure of in kind costs from Viacom. The 5 1 vote requires public disclosure of ads and administrative costs funded by the show and Viacom while limiting campaign solicitations to the traditional 5000 dollar cap for PACs.
