Court voids Yucca Mountain suit over disposal plan halt

A federal appeals court dismissed the lawsuit filed by Aiken County and others seeking to overturn the DOE decision to halt Yucca Mountain. The panel ruled the claims not ripe for review and lacked jurisdiction until the Nuclear Regulatory Commission acts. The decision preserves options if NRC moves on the license or withdrawal.
