Senior Citizen of the Year named by COA in Aiken
John F. Elliott receives the Council on Aging Senior Citizen of the Year award at the COA annual meeting. Elliott, a Wisconsin native and former Du Pont supervisor, has served on the Aiken City Park Commission and contributed to beautification projects. He was named Man of the Year in 1977 by the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce.
