One Injured Suspect Arrested After Clearwater Shooting
A 33 year old shooting victim reported a man flagged his car, then fired at him in Clearwater at 2:20 a.m. Randal Barton, 42, was arrested at his Buster Place home and charged with attempted murder unlawful possession of a sawed off shotgun and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. The victim, shot in the right foot, was taken to a hospital. A perimeter was set and Barton was located with a bloodhound team's help.

Mental Health America extends invite to Point in Time Count in Aiken
Mental Health America of Aiken County invites volunteers for the Point in Time Count at St John United Methodist Church Grace Kitchen and St Thaddeus Episcopal Soup Kitchen. From 8 to 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. surveys will record homeless counts to inform funding and planning. Additional notes mention a parent complaint about a student being sent home in soiled depends, a handicap parking pass and GPS stolen, shoplifting arrests, gun and marijuana-related charges, and various other thefts and disturbances across the region.
