Searchers Believe Rebel Sub Found

Archaeologists and divers may have located the Confederate submarine Hunley off Sullivan’s Island in Charleston Harbor. The Hunley sank with nine crew after attacking the USS Housatonic on February 17, 1864, becoming the first submarine to sink an enemy ship in combat.
