Sri Lankan sisters fundraise for tsunami victims at Converse Opera
Tharanga Goonetilleke and her sister Eranga, from Sri Lanka, have raised about $8,000 for tsunami refugees through Converse College's opera program. Tharanga, a senior, sings Mimi in La Boheme while Eranga joins the chorus as they support relief efforts and highlight their cultural roots at the Upstate school.
