Deaths And Funerals Allendale and Jackson

Julian Dunbar 82 of Allendale died at an Aiken County hospital. Funeral 2:30 p.m. at Smith Memorial with Rev. Hamm and Rev. Mew. Burial Gillette United Methodist Cemetery. Dunbar longtime Allendale Police officer veteran WWII Legion Post 38 member. Survived by daughter Mrs. Hallowell of New Jersey, sister Adelaide Blount, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. Cecil Lena Widener died at Richmond County hospital. Funeral 3 p.m. at Hollow Creek Baptist Church. Burial Hollow Creek Cemetery. Widener homemaker native of Aiken County. Survived by widower, daughters Vesta Chapman and Emma Jean Widener, sister Carrie Beard, brothers John W. Heath and James F. Heath. Pallbearers listed. Friends may call Posey Funeral Home or residence tonight.

A limited class of experienced gardeners will learn through a nine week course totaling 27 hours covering basic botany landscaping vegetables ornamentals house plants pesticides and plant problems.
