Man dies in one car crash amid belt use concerns

An early morning single vehicle crash in Aiken left 24 year old Erik Hall dead. Coroner Sue Townsend suspects alcohol may have been a factor but cites not wearing a seat belt as the definite cause. Hall, driving a 1998 Tahoe on Pine Log Road, was ejected when the car rolled after hitting a curb. Authorities pronounced him dead at the scene. toxicology results pending.

Westinghouse unit to announce HQ in Downtown Aiken

Westinghouse Government Services Group plans to locate its corporate headquarters on Newberry Street in Downtown Aiken. The announcement, to be at Newberry Hall at 10 a.m., will include Gov.
