MAP Helps Relocate Shelter Dogs to Balance Adoptions
The ASPCA launched MAP Moving Animals Places to connect shelters with too many or too few dogs. Since July, 347 shelters in 47 states and Puerto Rico joined, moving at least 362 dogs and 12 cats. Shelters join by submitting health and transport details and follow strict vet checks and care rules during relocations.
