USC Aiken hosts eighth statewide instructional fair for teachers
USC Aiken hosts the eighth instructional fair for teachers in Aiken County and statewide at the Business and Education Building on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Workshops cover mathematics science reading language arts and technology under the theme Empowering Teachers to Promote Educational Excellence for All Children. Gloria Allen of the Ruth Patrick Science Education Center notes teachers will share effective instructional strategies while Dr. Frank Roberson of the Aiken County School District delivers the luncheon keynote. About 30 sessions will be led by university faculty and State Department of Education consultants. Registration is through Gloria Allen at 641-3992 or on the day of the fair.
